second bundle me
I purchased this bundle me after attempting to use the regular bundle me. I live in Boston and thought the regular one would be more appropriate, but between the car seat pads they have now for newborns, and the bundle me, my 9lb newborn fussed so much that he worked up a sweat! The bundle me light is much thinner, but still warm, and allows the use of the carseat pads without squishing baby. The outside is also made of a weatherproof fabric, whereas the regular bundle me was just fleece. Overall, I am very satsified with the bundle me light!
cute and practical
i was looking for light Bundle Me after i returned the thick one and stumbled upon this one. the design is cute and material is great. i would put the cover over the car seat canopy when the babies are sleeping and/or if it's raining or misty. this design is not available in stores so it was a great find.
Keeps our baby warm
We received this item from our baby registry. We love it. It keeps our infant warm on cold days in the car seat when we go on walks. It is easy to install and helps to save time when leaving the house, one less thing to worry about packing since it is attached to the seat.
So useful!
This is the second bundle me lite that I have bought. The first one was pink and I just had a little boy so I needed a blue one:) I like the lite bundle me because I could use it for fall, winter, and spring. It is so easy to just pull it over their head if it rains or is really cold outside. The inside is very soft and it washes well too. In the dead of winter I just added a blanket underneath. I also bought one for my friend that just had a baby. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Must Have
I would highly advise you to buy the Bundle me Lite over the Bundle me regular. I own both and live in Minnesota, so the winters get very cold. My baby got to hot most of the time with the original bundle me (I also put a blanket in the car seat with him). With the bunle me Lite we did not have this problem. Great Great product a must have for baby!!!!

Warm but falls apart quickly
I got 2 of these for our nanny share. They lasted for about 4 months and then fell apart (we kept them attached to the double stroller). The zippers broke so the two pieces wouldn't connect anymore. They were warm and nice while they lasted but I was disappointed in the quality.
Extremely warm with perfect pocket for pacifier/teether!
The pocket for the pacifier is a lifesaver and this kept our baby warm through the winter. We had tried other carseat blankets but this was properly snug and the material was thicker and softer. The zipper is a little tough at first but with time became quite smooth. We bought this in Soho (brown) to go with the Sahara Chicco Keyfit carseat and it matched beautifully! Definitely worth the price for ease of use through an airport and while traveling to not worry about blankets getting blown away. For spring we now use the JJ Cole Bundle Me Lite - Taupe which doesn't have the pocket but perfect material for this warm weather. You will not be disappointed, JJ Cole always delivers!
The most essential baby item!!!
I was loaned one of these for our third baby and cannot tell you how upset I was that I didn't have one for the first two kids!!! This is probably my most favorite baby item and definitely something I cannot live without! It is so wonderful to not have to bundle up the baby in a larger than life snowsuit for a simple trip to the grocery store. The fact that you can simply unzip the top when baby becomes too warm while shopping is a added bonus. This will definitely be my default baby gift to anyone who lives in a cold weather climate!
Washing issues!
I love how it keeps the baby nice and warm!
But when I washed it the the Velcro shreds and makes a mess and unable to be used.
I have followed the instructions.
I returned it thinking it was a defect come to find out the 2nd one did it too! Besides that I did not even dry it! Very upset about it!
Best thing since sliced bread!
This has been a godsend. Our son was born in Sept. 2009 and we have had this on his carseat since October. We don't have to worry about trying to put him in a coat and hoping to god the straps fit over him. I walk with him daily (even when it's 20 degrees) in his stroller and when we get home he still toasty warm. This is a great product and I plan to buy the toddler version as well!

Not safe!!!
These products are not safe! You should NEVER put any type of product between your baby and the back of the seat. In a crash, the fabrics will compress and your child will not be in the seat as tight as possible. Look for a product that covers the seat more like a shower cap. They are out there!
Great For Cooler Months
Got this for the cooler months of California (we live in the Bay Area), and so far, on the cooler/sprinkly days of spring it works well. We like how we don't need to bring extra blankies. We just make sure he's well dressed, and we pop Baby in, and off we go. It's also super simple to pull on, and to pull off when we need to wash it.
Returned it -- Safety Concerns
We received this as a shower gift, but returned it. We'd already taken it off our registery after being told that our hospital (Mass General) will not allow you to leave the hospital with a BundleMe in the carseat (or any other carseat accessory, honestly). A well-meaning friend gave us one anyway, she couldn't believe we'd "missed" putting it on there.
I can't see using something that my healthcare provider (and local police station) deems less-than-safe. You'll see a lot of one-star reviews due to this same issue ... and oddly, a lot of, "Oh yeah, well, what do a bunch of nurses and safety "experts" know -- this has been crash tested!" That's fine if that makes you feel better, but knowing that it's not recommended by the place I choose to bring my baby into this world ... yeah. That's good enough for me.
These are dangerous
These should not be used with any brand of infant car seat, they affect how the straps are used and make it impossible to secure baby correctly. If you look it up, you will see there have been instances shen these have been used and in an accident the babies shoulders came out of the seat straps. You CAN however use the car seat covers that just go over the top of the car seat without the back thing. Just please look into it. There is a reason your car seat specifies not to add other additions to it.
UNSAFE PRODUCT
Did you all know that this product will void your car seat warranty? Anything that did not specifically come with your seat is an aftermarket product and deemed not safe. Why would anyone want to put their child in danger? Do your research everyone.
