Graco Vie4 Stroller in Broadstreet
Graco Vie4 Stroller
Manufacturer: Graco Baby

THIS stroller is just right!
I am so happy with this stroller!
We were using the Chicco Cortina on loan from a friend for 6 months and had to return it as they are expecting their 2nd child in a couple weeks. We received a Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller in Shock at our shower, so we broke that one out, but it wasn't comfortable for a 6 month old. I love the Jeep stroller and it will be great when traveling light when our daughter is about 18 months+, but right now she needed something more plush.
I was very sad to be without the Cortina and wanted to buy one of our own, but decided to shop around for one that wasn't so heavy and wide. I found this Graco Vie4 stroller to be just right. It is lighter, more agile, and narrower than the Cortina; but more padded, roomier and better equipped than the Jeep Sport.
Here is everything I love:
- The fabric is adorable and better looking in person, the flowers look Hawaiian
- The basket is better than the full size Cortina, longer and easier to get to
- The handling is zippy and silent
- There are 2 coffee cup holders AND a lidded cubby on the parent tray
- The child's tray can accomodate a sippy cup or juice box in the same hole
- I was able to snap it together in 20 minutes by myself without having to dig out the directions
- It reclines flat for sleeping and an emergency changing table
- It is much lighter than the Cortina
- The handle is adjustable for my tall husband
- The fabric is pink but the body is a nice cocoa brown which makes the pink it more subtle in person
- The canopy is large with a nice big clear porthole to check on baby
- The harness is very clever, the one buckle goes from a 3 to 5 point harness with sliding shoulder straps
- The harness straps adjust easily thanks to push buttons, no having to pull twice through a slide buckle
- The foot flap can fold up to create a bassinet, it also folds under the seat for more room on foot rest
- When the seat is in the upright position, there's a pocket behind the headrest I can stash a toy or snack
- It really does fold open and closed with one hand
Here are the things I wish were better:
- It doesn't fold as flat as you think it will, but I have a CRV and still have room in the back
- The canopy isn't designed to also fold in front like the Cortina, but if you don't secure it under the parent tray, it can!
- The Jeep has loops on canopy to hang toys, I wish this one did too so I made my own with ribbon
- I wish the buttons were pink or brown and not red, just the graphic designer in me being picky :)
I think a couple of the bad reviews here are because the poor people received a lemon, they should ask for a replacement. I think the gentleman who had the uncomfortable seat angle had a broken stroller since it sounds like it wouldn't unfold/open all the way. The gal who had a seat that wouldn't sit upright may have had a faulty adjustment strap. I am fortunate to not have experienced any of these problems.
Overall I highly recommend this stroller, especially if you get it on sale with the free shipping!

good stroller
large; I like the features - especially the full recline, the any-position recline, and the bassinet feature! (the end of the seat folds up for newborn bassinet!. Folds easily but very large and bulky when folded. doesn't unfold so easily. Stands up when folded! Large basket. Rides very nicely. Please ignore review of those who went to Disneyland and couldn't recline stroller - NONSENSE!!

It worth every penny what your paid for
I bought this stroller 2 month ago. I am absolutely content with the purchase. It is very easy to assemble. The framework is not only sturdy but also stylish. It fits my Graco babysit perfectly. The pushing and folding is almost effortless. The only drawback in my case is its not so much compactness. It barely fits my Honda Accord trunk.

Satisfied Customer
I have been very happy with the Graco Vie4 stroller in general, though I was a bit surprised at its size. It IS a full-sized stroller and it takes up the entire trunk of my Hyundai Elantra! Definitely not something I can leave in my car if I am going to go grocery shopping! A little heavy/bulky to maneuver folded, though can drag it along one-handed quite easily. The one-handed up and down is great, and it was easy to put together. Nice big basket below and space for 2 adult-sized beverages above is definitely convenient. Handles the cobblestones and craggy sidewalks in our neighborhood with ease--big enough wheels that it doesn't get hung up on curbs, etc. Sturdy, have not been worried about it breaking. My son is a bit annoyed that the seat back doesn't go to bolt upright position, though he is 7 months and can pull himself into the position he likes as long as we only have the lap strap fastened. Aside from the size, my only other complaint is the child's tray--I think the mechanism to allow it to swing is a little hard to operate, and I have to 'persuade' my son to sit back while I lower it into place. Would over all recommend it--works for the mall as well as around the neighborhood or park. Looking forward to several years of service!

Nice, sturdy, convenient
We like Graco products - we used the infant car seat and stroller base and own two Pack-n-Plays - so we decided to try the same brand stroller when our son was ready for an upgrade. It's a great stroller - easy to fold/unfold, sturdy, reclinable, holds lots of stuff. Easy to assemble. The fabric pattern is cute and stylish.
